Always willing to have a pop at people behind their backs, the mean-spirited folk at UWP thought it was about time to chuck some mud about and see what sticks.

So we composed our list of the worst websites we’ve ever seen – a modern-day Clash of the Shite-ans if you pardon my French. And there are some beauties out there.

The worst websites have an overwhelming or chaotic design, including excessive visuals, clashing colours and cluttered layouts that strain the user.

There’s a lack of balance in content, ranging from overly minimal pages with little substance to overly busy pages packed with distractions.

They have poor usability and navigation, making it difficult for users to understand or interact with the site.

There are low-quality or inappropriate visual choices, such as distorted images, excessive repetition, or unprofessional presentation.

They have a general disregard for the user experience (UX), resulting in confusing, frustrating, or unpleasant browsing overall.

There are a few lessons to be learned but we’ve tried our best to steer clear of anything that could be considered helpful, constructive criticism in favour of just having a pop.
